Two Different Prisons, Same Jesus!

The same thing happened two different places and God moved in both

In Mississippi, a man stepped forward with tears in his eyes. He had just undergone a major medical procedure. The baptism tank was set up. Dozens were stepping into the water. But he couldn’t.

Still, he asked, “Is there any way I can be baptized today?”At a women’s maximum-security prison, a similar scene was unfolding. One woman had been praying from her cell, believing God could make a way. But she was in a wheelchair and unable to enter the tank. Still, she asked, “Can I be baptized, too?”

In both prisons, we grabbed water bottles. We gathered around them. Prayed. And we poured the water over their heads as they wept, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The same Jesus meeting people just as He always has. In different places, under different circumstances, the same miracle unfolded.

This is what revival looks like behind bars. People are responding to the Gospel.Unlikely places. Unshakable faith. And a God who still saves.
